220M Style on a E92 xDrive -- HELP!
So I traded straight up for a set of 220M 19's for my stock 185 17's, now my problem is they rub. They came with 245/35 and 265/35, rubbed like a beast (I had pulled the front drive shaft) I changed the rears to 275/30 and it reduced the rubbing. Rolled the fenders, less rubbing but they still do. I had my shocks checked out and am getting them replaced with OEM ride Sachs. If that doesn't fix the rubbing I'm at a loss. I really like the way the rims look on my ride, daughter asked what her name was...I said the other woman
And suggestions, possible solutions? I had one mechanic say I could grind some of the rim away to increase the offset. I have at least an inch of clearance on the inside of the wheel between the shocks. General consensus online I can find is that no you shouldn't. Please help! And thanks! |
