I searched up and down people have problems with how the mirrors fold but no one has their mirrors randomly opening and closing while driving I have no clue what to replace? 09 e92 335i

It was about them going past where they were supposed to I thought only other was very old said brought to dealer and changed module not any info on what module or anything was very general ill search again though maybe I missed it

Have you tried cleaning the motor connectors in the mirror Rob? Fixed my dipping problem on the glass, I know its not the same motor but worth a go

Ya ill try anything it did start after washing but they airways opened and closed while washing cause I had them coded to close when hold the comfort access touch pad for 3 sec will try and report back

On the mirror motor theres a small 6 pin connector. Remove it then use some sand paper to gently clean the pins that the plug goes onto. This sorted my moving mirror, hopefully it will help you
