Urea Pump Test?
Does anyone know if you can use a Foxwell NT510 scantool to activate the Urea pump? I'd like to remove the Metering valve from the exhaust and then activate the urea pump to see that it is in fact working.
Reason being that I have an appointment on Saturday to go to the 'stealer' for the NoX sensor replacement that I believe is linked to my code: 4D16 SCR system efficiency. I prefer to know that my SCR pump is working properly and not causing this code to pop up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Thanks for the idea. Thermostat is reaching the correct temp. I was able to figure out that with my Foxwell NT510 scan tool, I can look at both NOX sensors and what they are reading, along with how much % the urea dose is being injected, and also the urea pump pressure. Pretty cool stuff. Turns out my NOX sensors are both reading an identical number and the urea dose is at 0% as a result. I'm pretty certain that one or both of the NOX sensors is defective at this point.
