Coding with Turner Remote Tune cable

I recently did the Turner/Active remote engine tune on my N52 Touring and now have the remote tuning dongle and cable. Does anyone know if this dongle and usb combo can be used for any other coding?

Picture below is not my exact one, but looks similar...not much to it. I suspect using it for real coding not to be an option, but thought I'd ask if there are any other uses for it besides a paper weight.

I'm not familiar with this exact cable/setup; however, I'm willing to bet that it won't work for coding your car. Majority of these setups are only set to run with their proprietary software/interface.
