Boost leak!

Hi, I just recently went Pure Stage 2. Went out to get a custom tune from a local friend and we noticed at 17 pounds of boost the car suddenly goes down to 4 pounds. It seems I have a leak but how do I go about getting the car tested at 17 pounds?

Any input helps.
Thank you.

Two other options are: boost solenoid is bad or the silicone coupler on the air intake is collapsing. Post a log for us to look at.

I'll post one later today when he can send me one. Also didn't think of the boost solenoid and had no idea about the silicone coupler. Thanks!

Sorry to latch onto your thread. Our problem is identical so maybe we can both get an answer. I seem to also be having a boost leak, I already checked the lower - > upper charge pipe and the connection to the intake. My leak is audible, that's why I wonder if it could even be the solenoid? This also happened to me after going to stage 2 e30, although I haven't gotten around to installing my catless downpipe yet.

All good man. Hopefully we can get this figured out. I'm dropping my car off Friday at the shop I had my turbos done at. I'll let you know if they find anything.

That would cause a vacuum leak, not a boost leak.
