This is going to sound retarded, but...

which one is the siren? Is it the circular thing on the bottom left?

Ok did they change the siren then? Because mine is concave and a complete circle, whereas this one seems to be square on one end and has the siren sticking out. Also, mine doesn't have those plastic tubes that seem to be around the outside of the siren.

The square one is a siren with a backup battery and tilt sensor built in.

depends if you ordered a whole kit of part-by-part.
i got mine as a kit for $240. it came with a siren

I ordered mine from Tischer. I'm just saying my siren does not have that rectangular backing on it, nor those tubes on the outside.

When you ordered from Tischer did you specific for the proper car. I recall there being a question on the web page, whether you wanted it for the sedan or convertible, or something like that.

The directions that were posted here show a rectangular siren. have they changed the kit for the US?
