Are things getting worse?
A month ago before I left over seas, I made mention I had some rough starts. Anyway after 2 rough starts and change of gas, it went away. However around 3k 2-5th gear the car hiccuped, but had great power.
Today for the first time ever I got the half engine light today when driving and engine service light. Pulled off my c-reader code p0306 cyl 6 misfire. Turn car off and back on, everything went away. Drove home no problem and with full power, no lose at all. Very weird. Is this the down fall of my fuel pump? :+( car is built exactly a year ago with a bit over 9k milage.

yeah i've had slow starts randomly from day 1. i hope bmw recalls the fuel pumps. dangerous to lose pressure under boost. i'm sure the ecu can read the load on the fuel pump and would limp or decrease power to prevent damage. every other me-motronic car with a pwm or hpfp can monitor the output to ensure you don't have fuel pressure loss.
we need a good logging utility like vag-com for our cars to really know whats going on.
