Unhappy MULF2 swap pnp?

Hi guys, well it started with the dreaded SOS on my dash, along with losing USB, BT and satellite radio. So I troubleshot the issue using a loop and it appears to be my MULF2 high unit. So the loop I bought wasn't the OEM one but an aftermarket which needed to be trimmed/electric taped to plug in. Everything was fine for awhile, it took a few mins to initialize but I'd have satellite and BT eventually. But now satellite constantly cuts out as does the phone not connecting (USB gone anyways), but worse now my NAV redscreens and restarts almost daily.

My question is, if I buy an eBay MULF2 unit will this solve the above problems or is my MOST unit also starting to fail? If just the MULF2, as long as it is a e92 or e93 is it a simple plug and play or is that only for MOST? I read elsewhere people simply connecting either of the 2 with no coding required, simply luck?

Is the armrest USB MOST or MULF2 casualty? Btw, no water in my cabrio trunk ever.

mulf2 can die
you can replace mulf2 with any working mulf2 and most loop will be closed but you also can simply exclude mulf2 from most loop on MOST concentrator under left rear side bolster
ccc can reboot due dead module on MOST bus
