Digital speedometer

Hey all,

I've got a Canadian 2006 325i - and since it looks like I'll be in the US for a bit, I'm in the process of figuring out what I need to do to import the car.

It seems like one of those things is having a MPH speedometer (mine's only in KPH). I could replace the gauge cluster, but after reading here it seems like getting the car coded to display a digital speedo might be easier / cheaper.

Two questions:

1) Will the digital speedo be in MPH? Even though it's a Canadian car? Can it be changed between KPH / MPH?

2) Any recommendations for someone in Los Angeles (or remotely) to do this service for a reasonable fee?

Thanks!

S.

I'll browse through a KOMBI .TRC file to see what options exist for that.
Do you have a K+DCAN cable?

No, not yet. But I was going to order one.

And that would be great, thanks!
