JB4 question
New to the forum here! My '10 335xi is at 75k miles and I'm pretty darn sure that I've got wastegate rattle. I hear the jb4 masks it somehow. How exactly does it do that? Does it make them open up at a higher rpm?
Also, I swapped my vacuum lines out with silicone and left the ones to the vacuum canisters off just to make sure it was my turbos that we're making the noise. I drove around a wee bit and concluded they were. Wouldn't I get like a low boost error or some kinda check engine light that would come on? |

Jb4 menu 10 adjusts default wastegate position. Had stock turbos with almost 100k miles and wastegate rattle was pretty bad. Got 30ff codes every now and then but wasn't very common. Default for menu 10 should be 3000, I set it to around 1100 and it helped a little bit. When I try going any lower than 1100, car would throw 30ff code more often.
