Can someone help me out with my turbo lower inlet hose?
For some reason I don't have a screw where it should be to tighten it down, but thats only on one side how would it secure on the other side? ![]() ![]() its hard to see from this angle but on realoem it shows a hose clamp holding it together but I can't find anywhere a decent pic to illustrate it besides a diagram.it seems like the screw makes both sides tighten but there is no groove to put the band in so im stumped...ive been having this whooping noise for almost a month now and after reclaiming all my hoses from FMIC I finally figured the problem only to be a little confused...hopefully someone can help...any pictures or input will help thanks |

Maybe it's me, but I'm not sure what your issue actually is. The pipe that goes into the turbo has a screw/bolt that holds in down on the turbo side. Then there is a screw you seem to be missing that connects the top plastic pipe to the turbo inlet pipe. A screw goes in that hole in your pics and screws into the inlet pipe fitting.
This is not a section that is likely to cause issue as it would be under vacuum, not pressure, when driving. |

also, 29d8- intake air temp- charge air temp, comparison: intake air temp too high just thought since this was leading from the intake it might of gone hand in hand. |

2906 would be a boost leak. Code sheet says it could also be a bad pcv valve leaving. Both of which would ne be related to pre-turbo plumbing.
Since you are getting 29D8 as well, I'm guessing you have a bad TMAP sensor. |

There is only one bolt that holds the intake pipe to the turbo inlet pipe. Other than that there is a rubber grommet that helps create a seal.
