What kind of gains should be expected ?

Just bought a downpipe and JB4 going to install and dyno shortly but was just wondering what kind of HP and TQ gains I should be expecting ? I also have a cold air intake and muffler delete not that those should effect anything that much.

Btw I know this has probably been asked a million times just figured I'd throw it back out there instead of scrolling through to see other answers. Also I forgot to mention it's an N55 335xi lol

Doesn't BMS have dyno charts on their site?
This is for JB4 only http://www.burgertuning.com/images/d...5_JB4_PUMP.jpg
Add another 20-30 whp for Downpipe and 5-10 for intake.

Let us know what sort of numbers you hit.

With those mods you listed you'll hit 360-370 max on pump gas. MHDs E30 map barely hits 400 with FBO. N55 doesn't make nearly as much power as N54 mod for mod unfortunately

Oops didn't see that you are xdrive. So I just saw this video with FBO e92 running E30 map and it make 345 whp so MHD probably lists power estimates at the crank. I've seen stock N55 xdrives make 240-250 whp

That being said, with your mods you'll make 285-300 whp but take that with a grain of salt since that's what I've gathered from watching videos in the past 20 minutes

No that can't be possible I think the car stock runs around 280 whp I was thinking 350+ after the tune with all the mods

Xdrive soaks up a lot of whp brother there's no way a rwd and xdrive make near the whp with same mods. Here's another n55 rwd with e85. It's not even close

You didn't tell us what fuel you're running or even which JB4 map you would be using. Then there's other variables like which trans you have, what the weather is going to be like, etc. You also don't want us to tell you it'll make 375whp and then you go dyno and are disappointed if it doesn't even break 350.

Years back guys on here had dynos with pre-mod baslines, and x-drive 335 N55s were putting down around 280WHP. Although they do verry from dyno to dyno and Mustang dynos tend to be on the conservative side.

You're right I didn't specify. I will be running 91 octane I have the 6AT and I daily it but live in NY so right now the weather is very nice. 375 is probably pushing it but I have a hard time believing it's any less than 350 to the wheels. With those mods I believe map 2 is the correct one to run.

Did u log and make sure your car is not pulling timing on map 2? When I run 14 psi boost on my car with 91 gas, timing corrections were pretty bad.

I have not done any mods to the car yet other then muffler delete and cold air intake. This form was simply to ask what kind of power I'd get from a JB4 tune with downpipes and FMIC on 91 octane for the N55 because I have all the parts coming in this week.

Yeah, 91 is going to hurt you. Most of the high numbers you see are going to be from 93+E85 mixes. If it's hot and humid over there like it is here in Indianapolis, that's not going to help any either.

I am running a xdrive 335 FBO plus the Pure stage 2 turbo. With a base MHD custom tune and 93 gas, I was only able to hit 340 wph on the dyno last year. Maybe I should put the JB4 back in and see what numbers it puts down compared to MHD. The number don't lie, xdrive really does soak up the hp but it is a blast to launch. You will need definitely more than FBO to get to the upper 300s with xdrive.

hibye19013 thanks for the Dyno Pic. I assume that was with an catless DP/FMIC/CAI?
Do you have a dyno for the PS 2?

The dyno report was with everything in my signature including the PS2. I am only using the K&N drop-in as I wasn't convinced with the other aftermarket intakes.

MHD E30 OTS map you're looking at 340-350awhp with 450ish-wtq, I'm on e40 custom tuned by wedge and I'm probably around 380-400awhp depending on fuel if I drop some race fuel in there, on 91 octane you're gonna be around low 300awhp
