My buddy just bought an NSX (Zanardi edition)

A good friend of mine just bought an Acura NSX Zanardi edition. Think it is a 98. Was wondering if anyone knows anything about this car and how it compares to the 335 overall.

It's an absolutely gorgeous car, however its stock performance does not pair well with its exterior given that it only has about 250 HP and 285 torque? Its handling's not bad though but I still think it wouldn't keep up with a 335...nevertheless I'd love to own one it's got so much potential and when done right can be all show and all go =D

2970lbs, MR, race tuned

3660lbs, FR, understeer tuned

you tell me which one handles better.

The Zanardi NSX is basically a USDM NSX Type-S. Only 51 were made, so it's a pretty rare car.

The NSX is a true sports car, in the purest form. It can't really be compared to a luxury sports sedan like the 335i.

+1. The NSX now doesn't appear as it did back when it first came out to many people because of the outdated looking chassis and the power is not so wowwing anymore.

But the NSX was the exotic car that you can daily drive! The car is nothing short of awesome.

The Zanardi edition was a 1999 model. It's a badass car. I would get one. It was 290 hp and I think around 100 lbs lighter than a regular NSX. I've seen 0-60 times as fast as 4.6 seconds in the magazines. Very good for a NA V6 engine that came out 10 years ago.

I'd love to own an NSX one day just to have some fun with it on the weekends.

One of the best handling production cars ever meets probably the most reliable $80+k car ever. The only thing it lacks is power. It's price tag always caused it grief because the dollar to power ratio was never there. If they'd priced it cheaper it would've probably gone down as one of the greatests of all time

I forget which magazine I was reading, but it was basically saying how the NSX, during its prime, was what the R8 is today.
