E90 328 Throttle Pedal Wiring Diagram ?
Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the foot throttle pedal?
It is 6 pin/wires. And when looking at the car side plug, numbered as- 1 2 3 4 5 6 pin 1- brown with yellow stripe pin 2- brown pin 3- yellow with green stripe pin 4- white pin 5- yellow pin 6- white So something should be- ground, 5v reference, signal (0-5v), IDK what else. Any help? Thanks My idea is to tap and monitor the 0-5v signal wire and I will then map out the throttle position voltage. I can use this voltage to turn on a switch/relay. For example if half throttle is 2.5v, I can monitor the signal wire and when it goes above 2.5v, it turns on a relay, which would turn off when the signal voltage drops below 2.5v. Or turn on Nitrous when pedal is beyond 80% position. Open an exhaust dump valve when above 50% throttle position. Open electric BOV when throttle position is below 15% and above 5%. The possibilities are endless. I want to be able to turn on and off some things depending on throttle pedal position. |

Thanks.
Looks like there is basically 2 sensors. BMW redundancy. Each has 3 wires- ground, 5v+, signal. Maybe one is 0-5v and the other is 5v-0 sweep. I'll do some testing. |

IIRC those are pretty easy to come by - I don't know off the top of my head, but I know the exist as it's a really common thing to do - better than reinventing the wheel, plus you could access other data (RPM, vehicle speed, etc).
BTW, I believe all PWG modules are the same from the E46 to at least the E9x. |
