Just installed: TVandNAV2GO
I just installed the TVandNAV2GO in my 2008 335i E92 coupe yesterday.
I started out reading the online post (thanks guys, made it easier on me)... I am very happy with the setup and the ease of use, currently being run with a video iPod, but looking to order a half-din dvd player for the glove box, what brand do people recommend? I have a question though, which fuse should I use to add a circuit to? some say fuse #5, but my car didn't originally have a fuse there |

From the screen shots I've seen, you're taking the video image and stretching it across the BMW nav screen, which I believe is even wider than 2.33:1, and is certainly MUCH wider than 16:9 (or 1.66:1).
Since video output devices depend on the display to sort this out (All DVDs output the same image data as far as width goes), wondering if you guys have any fixes for this problem? (Aside from the fact that it's the ultimate DRIVING machine, not the ultimate TV-watching machine...) I ask because I'm interested in throwing other signals up there in future - backup cam, possibly UI from an add-on device. |
