I just got my turbos replaced and noticed my oil temp reaching 240ish to 250 , and im not even spirited driving . Still breaking in the turbos . so im not flooring it over 4k rpms . my car is an 07 335i e92? no oil cooler too. plus the weather here has been around the 80s -90s(with ac on) also seen a pool of water under my car . i assume its from the ac .

With a good synthetic oil you're fine. If you're still worried you can retrofit an oil cooler housing, lines and oil cooler to your car. Our 335i was a March 2007 build that didn't come with the oil cooler either. I went ahead and retrofitted one. Ever since I did the peak temps are down about 20 degrees.

Build date has nothing with n54 having oil cooler or not. Oil cooler helps but easiest would be tune that will run coolant pump harder to keep temperatures down.

240 to 250 is totally fine, it's the target operating temperature. If you plan on doing a lot of spirited driving (not just the occasional highway pull), then get an oil cooler kit.

The water is in fact AC condensation. These cars don't use plain water for any operating fluids as far as I know.

If you have an MHD flash on your car you can turn up the cooling settings. I used to run in the 240-250 range all the time. But since I turned up the cooling settings I rarely get above 240 and its South Florida + I don't drive slow. Yes it makes the car louder at stoplights and what not but worth it.

wouldnt that put more stress onto the pump since its circulating constantly now ?

Actually on the sport models the build date does have a bearing on whether it came with an oil cooler or not. Sport models with a build date of 04/2007 or later are supposed to come with the cooler. In our case, unfortunately ours was built 03/2007 and it didn't. Missed it by one month.

I have retrofitted oil coolers on Sport Package e90 and e92 made in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Isn't only the build date that determines if engine will have oil cooler or not. Destination code, how original owner order the car and etc. all come into play.

I have a build date of 11/2006, sport package, and came with an oil cooler.

Yeah it has to have the "hot climate" option IIRC. Most cars sold in the south get this automatically optioned by the dealers but I have seen some in Texas that were bought here that don't have it.

I believe so but waterpump longevity on these cars is trivial at times so it almost doesn't matter. Buy your pump from fcp and get a lifetime warranty and run run sport cooling mode. It's worth it.

Yes it does for the sport models, they implemented the il cooler in march 07 for the sport models

Based on your garage entry, it looks like you have an auto. I believe the only early builds that got it were the cars equipped with a manual.

Well that would explain that...I have a new oil filter housing with the oil cooler connections on the way...

I have an 07 335i. before I got an oil cooler my temps could easily hit 275. Now I put an oil cooler on and I have MHD running track cooling and I have yet to see a temp over 230. Even in this Socal heat.

18" wheels is the key to having the oil cooler or not usually but 2007 is a weird year for these cars. I think maybe after 08 or 09 the 18" wheel thing mattered or maybe it was just summer tires. Now I'm just grasping at straws.

I know it's not sport package because my 2010 335xi sport doesn't have oil cooler and it came with all season 17" wheels.

+1 from my knowledge all sport models with 19 inch wheels have the added oil cooler.

240-250 is normal operating range anyway, so OP, your fine.
