Minor tear/damage on the front tire
I found a tear and damage (photos are hosted on the URL below) on one of the front Bridgestone Driveguard RFT tires that is used on my 06 330i. This is an All season tire.
View post on imgur.com Is it okay to use/drive in this tire or will it create any issues like air leaks or other driveablility issues? Thanks. |

Yeah.....that's a no from me dawg.
![]() Maybe some rubber welding or a shit ton of black caulk. Black caulk should be easy to find at any hardware store. I'd be sure to call them first and make sure they have it in stock. |

It's definitely not safe to put that tire on a car. Apart from that, no shop is going to touch that tire with a 10 foot pole due to the liability. Time for a new set. Perhaps consider switching over to a non-RFT tire for a night and day difference in ride quality.

To OP, it wouldn't be recommended to continue to drive with that tire on. I'm sure you may be fine for a good while, but with something like that, there's certainly a higher chance of failure.
I think it would make the most sense (as others here have mentioned) to just get a decent set of non-RFT tires! |
