Dinan Stg. II & Long-Term Reliability
I know this has been discussed in various forms, but I did a search, but I couldn't find these specific questions.
What are the long-term reliability ramifications of the Dinan Stg. II flash, if any? What kind of long-term testing does Dinan perform, if any? What percentage (estimation) of Dinan Stg. II owners have problems stemming from the flash? Thank you. |

Don't know about the second question....honestly you should probably contact Dinan and ask them. As for Q#3 I have had the Stage II for 3,500 miles and everything is perfect. ![]()

unknown but you could reference other cars that had 6 cylinders and twin turbo's (audi b5 s5/a6/allroad) and note "typical" failure points. iirc the ZF tranny would slip eventually and other than the tsb on turbo oil lines causing turbo failures, pretty much could rock out to 125K+ without issue. everything goes to all heck on german cars once the warranty ends

How could anyone possibly tell you an accurate answer to the long term reliability question when the flash has been out for under a year??
