1/4 mile day! Who's interested?

Hey guys,

Just met with Dave Rento, part-owner of PES Tuning. For those that don't know or are unsure of who they are: www.chip2perform.com

They've released a piggyback for the 335i guys and let me tell you, I drove his car today (PES Tune and Miltek exhaust) and was VERY impressed. In my personal car I've had PROcede v1.47 and JB2HR and this tune feels like a combination of both of them. The v1.47 was a BEAST at low rpm, the JB is a BEAST and mid to high rpm....the PES was the whole way. Granted, Dave's car is steptronic and mine is a 6MT so the feel might be different...

He would like to rent out the track for the day and see how all cars compare to each other.

As of right now there is no tentative date, but most likely will be towads the end of July at Atco Raceway.

ughhh..I wish my car was faster... i need to get into some engine mods ASAP! But, still, fuck it. Ill go up against another 325i!!! Im in!! DEFINITELY WANNA DO THE E-TOWN RACE DAY TOO!!! LANA, LETS MAKE THAT HAPPEN! (let me know if you need some help)

I was supposed to meet up with Dave as well but, our schedules were just not letting it happen. Was his car running a boost gauge? Atco is way south Jersey right? I'm only off on sundays, If it's on a sunday i'm in. I'll just stay in AC the night before. Poker night + track day = a great weekend.

Thats actually a great idea. Head down to AC on Saturday night, gamble and the next day at the track. I'll talk to Dave haha. No boost gauge in Dave's car.

Oh my... if that is really true, you'd better have an oil field in your backyard! I have heard of superchargers for navigators... something like 500hp?

Full Day Rental (9:30am- 4:30pm Sharp)
15 Cars Maximum
1-10 Cars $2000 ? (Please v this box to confirm you understand this is the base fee for all rentals)
10-15 Cars $3000 ? (Please v this box if you wish to have at least 10 cars but no more than 15 cars)
One tech card per car and driver. NO switching drivers.
No splitting of rental spots. All crew members must sign the release form.

I might come as well. I will get some performance upgrades done to my car but not yet, so it would be cool to see what difference all those mods make that you guys have. I don't understand well enough to make any kind of judgement of my own, so I will just need to come and see what is the best and then invest my money on that

when it comes to piggybacks and other "power" mods, you will receive many biased answers to your question. Your best bet is to figure out your budget and what fits into it
