I'm trying to fasten an Xbox One controller to my racing rig (wheel, pedals, seat, shifter). I have multiple places to put a new plate etc, but I have yet to find a secure way to mount the controller to a plate. Ideally it would have a quick release, but at this point I'd settle for something more permanent for the sake of stability. Any ideas? I'd even take one of those security brackets you find at the demo stations at gamestop, but they are way more $$ than I'd be willing to pay.

When I'm playing Forza or FH3 you can use the joysticks to look around. You can also do more things on the d pad on the game pad in addition to the game pad on the wheel. So there is a lot of added functionality on the game pad. It would be nice to mount it near the shifter almost like where our idrive is.

Sell existing wheel and buy one with more functionality?

My old Fanatec Porsche GT3 wheel had enough buttons to map everything I needed except if I wanted to make pit stops for endurance races (which I didn't participate in) easier.

A mounted controller is probably a cheaper option, but I'll look into remapping in game, thanks!!
