I Ordered My Car Today, Wohooo!

Just got back from the dealer and ordered my 2008 e92 335i.

AW/CR of course. sport, premium, ipod, and heat seat. I payed $43,480 ($130 over cost!)...and the car is a code 112 and should be here in mid to late July! I'm so pumped right now. Time to start thinking about mods...

You're going to love it. Hot color combo, and just in time for summer. Get ready to drop some serious $$$ on mods if thats what your into, many here are addicted! Time to start X'ing off the days on the calender

i don't mean to put you down... but don't expect to come until at least late august... i ordered mines on may-10, still waiting and it'll be arriving mid july.

Do European Delivery and save even more. Even if you don't want to drive it there, you can fly in for a day. You can experience the Welt and 5 star delivery you will never get here in states. Well worth it....

Yeah... hate to break the news but late August is definitely what you're looking at. All the best at getting it sooner but with all the orders going in before shop closes at the end of July... things get a bit tight. Nonetheless, post some pics when it arrives

Well, today it leaves production and "awaits transport." From what I hear this is the longest part of the whole process. How long does it usually take to find a vessel and begin the journey home?

I'd agree.... just got back a week ago from doing ED and it was AMAZING! (And the savings paid for the 2 week trip.) But if you can't wait then, tough... you got no choice! (Ha, just kidding... congrats on the car.)

If your salary is paid to you in Euros! Take it from my wife's uncle who is here from Munich, you don't want to bring your US dollars there. On company business, it's different. If you feel uncomfortable paying $5/gal. of premium, you're gonna feel pretty uncomfortable buying a bottled water in Deutschland.
