Question Hassled getting US Car serviced in Canada?

Anyone import a car from the US and get hassled getting it serviced?

I.e. low priority versus Canadian cars?

The only thing I did a few weeks after the import was have them put on the front plate holder - no problems scheduling, got a free ride home and back, a follow up call a week later asking if my service was satisfactory. Also, I pulled in with a low level oil warning not too long ago and they topped it up n/c. Parkview BMW

I have first oil change coming up so we'll see - although I was thinking of taking it over to cross avenue in oakville - I think sam there is about $30-$40 cheaper then the dealer.

I'm gonna bring it over to buffalo. I asked them if it was possible to get a loaner (knew it would be a long shot) and of course they said they don't have loaners. I called BMWNA to confirm that maintenance was still free in the US even though I imported the car into Canada and they confirmed that it is.

Any dealer will honour warranty in canada just not the service package. Be prepared to shell out about $3k CAD to get your car registered in Canada...
