Driving from the car wash to the house and then applying JetSeal?

I live in an area where EPA laws do not let us wash our cars because no water drain-off is allowed [lame, I know]. However, there is a good car wash down the street about a mile where I can get my car washed legally. My question is: is it safe for my paint to get the car washed and dried there and then drive it 1-1.5 miles home and then apply JetSeal in my parking garage? I don't know what the risks would be but I'm assuming I could possibly pick up a little bit of dust or something on my paint?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yea, i'd either use ONR to wash at home or if you do take it to get washed and drive home, use a QD like ADHD said to wipe it down to make sure all the dirt from the drive is gone before applying the sealant.

ONR!!!!

Assuming it's a touchless car wash (I hope), don't just apply it without washing it by hand still, and I wouldn't QD it after running through a car wash. A car wash won't get a lot of the dirt off. You need to actually make contact to remove it. I try not to QD clean a car or rub anything else into the paint if I have had anything more than just a little dust on the car.

This is also why you should never dry a car after going through a touchless car wash. It won't get all the dirt off, and you WILL add light scratches and swirls.
