N54 daily driver

Hi all,

I have an E92 MT coupe that I like, but am thinking about getting a 335 or 535 with AT and an N54 engine as a more drive around car and something to pull a motorcycle trailer.

Does anyone have any thoughts/recommendations on 535 vs. 335? Leaning to 535i for the slightly larger size but not really sure.

Thanks for any replies!

I love my e90, but the e60 is better looking, IMO. If its just a run around car i think i might lean 535i. Are you a diy kind of person who likes tinkering? If not I'd advise against an n54.

I would go N54 535ix for my second car, unless I could find a nice 2010 E90 335ix (LCI N54).

X5 xDrive35d would top the above two, but tougher to find in the same price range.

The 535 can pull a motorcycle trailer easy. I talked to guy at Deals Gap (aka the Dragons Tail) and he had no problems. He was ripping up the road with his bike and occasionally the car. haha

How bad is the all wheel drive to work on the 535s? Best to avoid or ok?
