Just ordered this

I can't believe I thought I'd spend money again on mods, especially after the exhaust. This is going to be tough to hide from the wife.

However, I'm more excited for the steering wheel than anything else.

It shows up on the BMW accessories site so I don't see why it wouldn't, it fits on all E9X 3 series and 1 series.

Thanks! I hope it arrives in time too and I think with one month to go it should be plenty of time.

Unfortunately, Difeo BMW had it on backorder so I ordered from Tischer.

Interesting that you brought it up because I was thinking about the same thing. My only concern is the L and R button fitment to control the display.

Only the ones I listed. Stock doesn't have anything other than some multifunction controls that are standard.

I just found out that Tischer is selling these for $829 and I ordered through them via part numbers @ $1027 which means I overpaid by about $200. Hopefully they can work with me on this or at least tell me why there is such a difference for literally the same product.

It feels great. The alcantara feels nice and there is a good contrast with the leather. There are buttons at the 10 and 2 position on the grips for changing the menus (you can see the small circles in the photo). Very nice and trick looking for sure. It feels substantial also.

I probably will. My neighbor runs a Volvo shop and he said he would help me install the exhaust but he's not totally experienced with BMWs, however, I do trust him. I'll have to get in touch with Tischer and see what's going on with my order. I will want to get both done on the same day if the wheel arrives.

I have no idea what to even give him in exchange for helping me (and you too). I planned on pizza/beer for the guys at the shop and another spiff for my friend but I've never done this before so I have no idea.

Tischer is giving me the $829 price but unfortunately it is not in stock. Although, I do hope to receive it before our scheduled meet. Thanks Tischer!
