Exclamation Possible C63 AMG? hmmm...

ok so i've had my E92 335 for almost 2 years now (september it'l be 2 years)

and i test drove a C63 AMG today and absolutly fell inlove with it.
and im thinkin of trading/selling (basically getting rid of) my E92...

but...
i dnt know how this all works out...
so i need some help and some input...

I configured my C63 AMG and came out to 69k.

I got my car Roughly around 49k OTD...
my car payments are roughly around 650~ a month.
its a buy.

now what do i do to not loose 2 much money on trading/selling my car to get the C63 AMG?

whats the process?
how much will i loose and so forth.

any input is greatly appreciated...

Well from my experience everytime you buy/sell a car you always lose money. The old "cars are a bad investment saying". Anyways, I found the best thing is to shop around and what I mean by that is go to carmax and get an appraisal. They usually

offer more than any other dealership. Then go to your dealer and see if they match.

Also, I think you dont have to pay your state taxes on the car. Or maybe thats just if you sell your car within the first year.

Its like buying a new car, you just shop around to see if you can find the best deal.

On a side note, how has the reliability been. I see you have the Procede, and DP's. I was thinking of this setup but I'm a lil worried my car will EXPLODE.

Trade or sell used car and not lose much money??? Those don't go together...unfortunately.
Also, going from a 3L to 6.3L engine with the gas prices on the rise...you'll be losing more money...
And finally, something else will come out in a year or two, and you will be again falling in love and losing money on your C63...

Just stick with the great car you have and be happy...

Right now just doesn't seem to logical. . .
Plus it's the first year that the C63 AMG is out. . . Wait a while.
Plus in a few years your car's warrenty will have been up anyways and you'll have a much easier time selling to a Private Party that is looking for a car like yours.

I get it, in that case, the c63 could be an interesting option...
Once you turn cold toward the car, it is not a pleasure and enjoyment to own it...
But be ready to lose money...dealers will take care of it, on both sides ...

Sorry you've had problems with your 335i; I've often thought about the C63 for my next car, but two issues keep me from going for it:

1. Right now, a loaded C63 AMG (~ $70k) is leasing out at $1,200+/mo. (15k mi./yr. for 36 mo. w/ $2,300 down)!

2. It's a gas guzzler, and gets similar if not worse gas mileage than my wife's 5,300lb. MB GL450 SUV!

But, the C63 AMG is a beast though.

Gas will continue to go up, way up! In addition, AMGs are known for depreciating very quickly. You will take a hit particularly if you buy new. But hey, some people have mega dinero to spend on cars.

It could be different in different parts of the country, but 2 things to remember with the C63 AMG...

1. It's a new, hot car.

2. It's Merc Benz with horrible MF's in a lease; you'll never get a deal with an MB like you would with a BMW...the MB's are just plain expensive!

no one was asked u to come on here and judge me.
ima be parting out my car, and fyi my car has no problems. i got my turbo's checked out and they were perfectly fine. i dont blow out white smoke anymore.
i have all stock parts that came with the car except for the rims.
and why u care who i sell it to with or without any warranty?

i made a thread since ima fellow bimmer Enthusiast, asking OTHERS what their opinions are and their feedback is. that's all.
so dont bother posting on this thread anymore.
thanks.
