Hi. Want to ask if any one have any experience with their turbos? Looks like he does lot of evo turbos. All the reviews on facebook and google seems to be positive. I m looking at my options for getting turbo rebuild.

I have some cores for $300 if you want to send them in before hand.

I looked at doing this, rebuilding my own cores or replacing them.

I actually went with the RB oem replacement cores. Oem but machined out to a bigger/more robust TD04 bearing and actually came out cheaper than both.

So the turbos are still oem size, just the center bearing section is upgreade to td04? You only got the center section from rb and swap it yourself?

Correct on all. RB machined out the MHI and sticks in standard td04 bearings which I liked as they can take more abuse.

The swap was very easy and even with our dollar being pretty meh right now it was still very good value. You don't even have to send in your cores either so If your car isn't down right now then you have much less down time
