Best replacement bulbs?
I want to replace my yellow fog lights and driving lights as I am going to be upgrading the angel eyes halo ring pretty soon...
My question is I read about these GP thunders.. are they any good? I saw them on e-bay for a pretty good price.. I was also looking at the sylvania ultras.. what have you used that gave you the best results? Thanks! e90 335i sedan

just make sure you get the correct wattage and h type
for e92, angel eyes=h8 35W fog lights=h8 35W corner lights=h3 55W 7500k=hyper-white 8500k=bluer version of 7500k |

For the fogs and angel eyes, you can go with our H8 Hyper White Upgrade Bulbs which will change out the stock yellow for a more pure xenon white look.
For the inner beams, you can go with a set of our Hyper White Upgrade Bulbs in H7. |

i guess i'll be the first to give you an actual answer to your question. GP thunders are one of the most popular bulbs out there to replace the oem angel eye bulbs on the e92. They look nice and won't throw out any errors, but they aren't as bright as LED. Since you have an e90, you guys have the option of LUX led bulbs to replace your angel eyes. They cost a lot more, but I think it's worth it. I'm not sure, but for e92's they havent really come up with a good LED solution to our angel eyes. I know PIAA makes some, but I've heard mixed reviews. I've only heard good reviews for the LUX on e90s. Do a search and you can see pictures, and other info. Good luck |

i just did a lot of resaerch on these and bought a set of 7500k gp thunders. from what i read they are not as pure as the 8500k color ones but they are slightly more visible in the sun( if u havn't heard yet, most of these non oem bulbs are nearly invisible during the day)i will let you know how they turn out once i get them.

LUX has the brightest angel eye LED bulbs. A less bright alternative is the PIAA LED bulb. You can find PIAA LED bulbs for the angel eyes for pretty cheap at Options Auto Salon.
