The collector car market is nuts, so why not? 924's are probably about to get a lift too.

Can Yugo's comeback be far behind?

I remember the Cobra on "Charlie's Angels". I thought that was a cool looking car. But I was only 9 or so.

I watched the Charlie's Angels movie in 2003. But actually it was for the chicks

Ha! I didn't say it was a good idea, just that the market seems to be driven by people looking for the cars of their youth. We've just about made it through muscle cars and now we're entering the fuel crisis and generally shitty era of the late 70's and early 80's.

Some fool will probably drive Mondial prices up too. About the only thing from my childhood that I'd really love would be a Mk2 GTI. Hitting the end of that era leaves me with a 288 GTO though.

Everything old becomes new again. So I am sure it'll happen. I won't be buying one.
