PROcede and Vista?
Any ideas on how to keep the V3 "CONNECTED" for more then 3 min. on Vista based laptop? Any patches out there? Except on using the inverter to power up the laptop. Btw I'm using the new/vista updated version of RadioShack serial-to-USB.
Thanks. |

hmmm...that's really weird. I have an HP Pavillion with Vista Home Edition Premium running as admin. Loosing the connection on any COM after a few minutes. I should check my firewall settings.

I have the same problem with Vista. I tried connect on a vista laptop...installed the usb driver...didn't work either, so I had to use a XP laptop to connect with the PROcede.

I think I found the problem. It's in the Vista battery power options. Set the proccessor power management state to a 100%. I'd have to verify that. And it's not the cable, I have the latest serial-to-USB Vista updated!
