Queens/ Long Island black vinyl chrome trim cover
Ok going to try again since im having trouble finding a place to do this....
Looking to cover the chrome window moldings with black vinyl. Anyone know of a place in the Queens or Long Island area that would do it? |

I've never actually seen this black vynal chrome trim cover stuff. I think it should be painted at a good body shop but then again you cant go back to chrome if you change your mind about the black trim lol.

some people on this forum have actually painted them instead of the vinyl. but for people that have leases or like to change up there look of there car ever so often this is the easy and less expensive way of doing it .. so imo vinyl is a good way to go & it looks good to lol ..

lol i know man, the first time i used left over vinyl, to see how it would look, loved it and then it took me about 5 hours to peel off the vinyl and adhesive. tough stuff. lol
2nd time i bought new vinyl from ebay, vinyl seemed cheap, it wouldnt stick on the damn trim lol, i always spray a mist of water/soap on the trim to allow for wiggle room but it never sticks after so far i have the two straight bottom pieces covered on the windows, just need the rest. ive been drvin like that for about 2-3 weeks. |
