Free bump with my question. Thankfully I was never in this situation.

Always wondered how this process worked. Is the car in your garage with the adjuster telling you its done? Have you not reported it yet? Or is the adjustment all done and you bought it back? Or is that you have time between the tow-truck pickup, etc. You get the idea.

So, this is the 3rd time? This has happened (seriously - I'm VERY unlucky)
But basically they gave me an offer. I'm still in discussions with them on if I think it's acceptable or not, but the car is currently at the repair shop. They said I can grab my stuff and things off of it, but obviously you have to replace it with the stock parts.

I don't have the time to revert it back (and I don't plan on buying the car back, even though it's structurally fine - just the hood, bumper and windshield. Not even he airbags went off)

The labor involved with pulling them out isn't bad, but not worth it. I don't have the time to take these parts off.

Maybe not, but I don't have the time to do it myself. If I did, I would charge a Very cheap discounted rate for it.
