Good tire wet....

anyone know of any tire wet products that doesnt GOOO up and dirty the entire rim. Ive been using the turtle wax shiat, which is AWESOME for gloss...but i guess its pretty sticky and stuff just sticks to it.

any good products you suggest.

I'm more of a fan of the matte sheen look i.e. new rubber. I use a diluted mixture of 303 and water, works great!

black magic tire gel... comes with a sponge applicator already attached. if it gets too warm then it'll be watery and slime your rims a little but as long as you keep it inside or inside your garage (just not your trunk like found out) its good stuff and keeps the wet look on your rubber for a good 2-3 days.

+1 on Black Magic if you like the wet look. I don't, but I have some and used it a few times and it worked well.

For a much more matte look, the Zaino tire stuff is really good, IMO. Makes the tires nice and dark, doesn't sling off, and works a long time.

are you using a sponge to apply it cuz I've never had a problem (other than when its been sitting in a hot car all day long) with it getting on the rims once i put it on.

After letting the dressing sit for a bit, try wiping it off with a towel to take off the excess product, the gloss will go down a bit, but it should decrease dirt sticking and making your wheels dirty.

If you want WET, the best its surprisingly AA Tire Gel (its the orange upside down bottle) avail almost anywhere.

Personally I find it ghetto, I like Swissvax Pneu the best.

if you want that wet look that will last... GEL type is the best right now.

I used that AA tire gel, and it slings all over the sides of my ride even after wiping off excess with a rag.

Agreed, I'm not a fan of the wet look. I like a dark matte look on my tires. Zaino's tire product gives a nice dark look. I'll have to try the Swissvax product also. But no matter what I use, I always get spots or streaking on my wheels. And this is after wiping excess product off.
