TD03L4-10TK3 ebay turbos
I have a 2007 335i with severe wastegate rattle and need to get new turbos. I found new ones TD03L4-10TK3 being sold on ebay for about $600 for the pair. Does anyone have experience with these? Do they have the same frail wastegates as the OEM ones? Don't care to spend too much on upgrades...

You get what you pay for, yes some chinese vendors are selling look a like turbos on ebay for really cheap, they are also not balanced, the waste gate will rattle after a couple hundred or a couple thousand miles, and you will have leaks. Frankenturbo is selling brand new turbos on their group buy for 2000 with the install kit, it is more than worth it to spend the extra 1800 dollars if that is too much for you, i would then suggest a different car.

Their is a couple people on a different bmw forum (***********), running ebay turbos. They should be coming up on 6 months, and so far no issues. Looks like they bought from a good vendor on ebay... who knows though, it might take a dump like hexxons. I'm just waiting for enough people to run them and find the right supplier before I pull the trigger.
