How much PSI brake bleeder?

How much PSI to pump brake bleeder to? Instructions say to refer to service manual of the car.

If I remember correctly, 20 psi.

I usually do 17 and give a few pumps after each caliper to get it back to 17. Seems like even 15 is enough pressure to do the job.

The instructions have a note warning not to go above 20.

BMW states no more than 2 Bar and that is what we run the electric bleeders at.

I would stop pressurising the Motive type ones once you get fluid moving however.
Don't forget to deflate it before disconnecting from the master

motive says not more than 15 psi and your manufacturer may be less.

I pump it to 10 and never had a problem.
