New bulbs or new headlight assembly? Aftermarket or BMW OEM?

I'd buy Lux's newest version for the halo bulbs, which is version 7 I think. I'd also buy D1S - Osram Xenarc 66140CBI for my main bulbs.

If the angle eye is not working, switch the polarity.

You have to code the new headlight to the DME...

Only thing I can really think is defective part, or maybe corroded connections? Did you use bulb grease? See if you can power the headlights/bulbs externally (if you know how to). I'm not really much help as I have never delved into the whole angel eyes thing, not too much of a fan. Looks cool though!

Update, so the driver side headlight and halo both worked on the OEM headlight and for the aftermarket you have to remove all the Xenon components from the stock and reinstall into the aftermarket (the ballasts and bulbs and what not) so after reinstalling all those fully working components into the after market, the halos work but the headlight does not? Also on the passenger side with the brand new ballast installed, the headlight works but the halos do not, the old headlight didn't work at all so with the new Xenon ballast the headlight works now but the halos still do not, when I plug the passenger side into the driver side wiring everything works though...

Might just come down to a wiring issue, not 100% sure. This goes over my head in terms of electronics.

Maybe call the manufacturer of the aftermarket piece and see what guidance they can provide.

I think I'd be sending the after mkt headlights back.
