E90 vs E92 stock sound systems

Does anyone know if there are any differences between the 2?

Reason being I have a 325d E90, wife has a 330d E92 - both stock - E90 is much better sounding, bassier, nicer treble.

I am selling the E90 and if there are differences, I want to swap the good bits lolol

Both the same head units??

I know the Professional radio is a lot warmer sounding than the business radio.

Apart from that they should be the same, obviously acoustics are different, maybe the door sills are deeper on the saloon giving some extra weight in the lower frequencies?

They are the same head unit

I think they are the same systems, might have to listen to another E92 to see if mine has a problem

Could simply be a difference in the ages of the cars?? Maybe BMW changed speaker supplier, maybe the speaker supplier changed materials, maybe some speakers are just goosed - could be anything really. I'd be surprised if 'stock' systems are different between models (as in between 2/4 door variants)

Both early 07 cars

I cant see why they would be different, but they sound quite different.

I'll probably upgrade anyway but I was just curious!

In my opinion you've got to have Logic7/DSP as a minimum - it's the business. Someone on here, think 'gIzzE', upgraded his motor with aftermarket stuff, sounded simple enough, and relatively cheap - good thread on here somewhere - if you can't locate a car with the BMW stereo upgrade.
