Since the wheels were on a 5 series before, they are most likely not going to fit. E39 chassis use very aggressive offsets front and rear. Since you have a E90, the rears may be able to fit. But the front will be very difficult. Conservative offsets for the front of a E39 are in the mid ET20s or ET15 for a 8.5" wheel. That auction ended though so...I guess I was too late, haha.

Too aggressive. The wheel sizes are fine, but when it comes down to the offset, it's a bit too aggressive.
I know you could go with ET30 in the front with 19x8.5s, but ET20s are too aggressive--I believe they'll stick out the fenders. With the rears, I know it's possible to get about ET20s in the rear with 19x9.5 with fender modifications and whatnot, but the 19x8.5 with an ET20 offset is too much |
