I was wondering if anyone had information on the 323i, I have found US info on 328i, but nothing on the Canadian 323i. Thanks Bob

What kind of info are you looking for? Great reliable car just like any n52/N51 engine, the 323i has the 2.5 inline 6 instead of the 3.0 inline 6 (like the 330 and 328) no turbos (like the 335). I have 210k kms with zero major issues (still have my original water pump, no oil leaks, etc.)

I could post my vin info if you want to get a better idea of what your looking for.

I just bought a 2008 323i. The original motor needs to be replaced. Should I replace it with the original N52B25? Or is it even possible to swap a N52B30, or N54B30 without problems.

I imagine a swap to N52B30 is just a "little" more work than an N52B25... not exactly sure what would be required thought.

The N54 would likely need more work, and according to most, it may be easier/cheaper to just find a 335 than try to do the motor swap.

I don't know for sure, just what I've seen from other threads I've read in the past.

Hopefully someone else can provide more concrete info.
