19s on e92 xi stock suspension

How many people are riding 19's on their XI's, with stock suspension? Does it make your ride look even higher than on the stock 18s?

If anybody could post pics, that'd be great (I saw pics of an aw in another thread, but couldnt find any more)

That's exactly what I want to do (in gunpowder), which is why I wanted to see pics. I'm still undecided about coilovers and its effect on the awd, not to mention KW's are too expensive, and i'm nto sure if i want to go with H&R's.

You are probably talking about my car:

The back looks ok stock, but the front looks like crap.....

I actually don't think that looks too bad at all - did you have the 18's on them before? Did you notice whether the wheel gap looked better/worse after putting on the 19's?

It's hard to tell sometimes from pics - from some angles it doesnt look bad, but from others the wheel gap looks huge.

Same angle in 18s:

I think the gap looks smaller with the 19s due to the larger rim size and low profile tires.

Cool, thanks - if you have any other pics, I'd really appreciate you posting them if you could!

At an initial glance, i'm thinking of maybe just getting the 19's and then seeing how it looks instead of lowering it first.

I switched to 19s a couple of weeks ago. The gap seems to be the same. I also thought it would look horrible but I think it looks ok. Although, I am waiting for my KWV3 to come in so I can lower it a little bit.

I have 19" VMR CSL Wheels with Gen UHP Tires ( non staggered) on my 08 XI and it looks much better and not higher than it did with the 17" stock setup

i think it looks good with the 19s but of course would look a lot nicer a little lower.

can everyone put up more photos? i am also debating on wheels, suspension, etc...would like to see more on how it looks with different set ups.

thanks

Phozenstone that looks nice as well. After I get the wheels, I will eventually get coilovers. You can always sell them later on.

Yea i don't think that looks bad at all..obviously a drop would make it look better, but for me there are other implications of lowering that i'm not keen on...if 19's on the stock suspension looks decent, i might just do that. thanks

i think it would actually look better if the rear was raised a bit and not drop the front as much?? i prefer a leveled out look rather then a forward sloping one. Another option would be a small fender flare kit with slight a slight decent and a wider front tire. I used to own a tacoma truck and saw a huge difference in looks when some of my friends put fender flares on their trucks. I was looking around and haven't found any pre-made oens yet.... may have to get itchy and make it myself

I'm dropping the rear maybe 1/2" and the front 3/4" only, because I work around potholes galore......

I decided not to lower mine. Isn't worth the extra 2K IMO.

coilovers, KW V3 to be exact, unless Bilstein comes out with xi specific application of their PSS-10 or the B19
