Have you had your car in the shop and later found something suspiciously not working?
My car had an MOT and "vehicle check". One week later, I noticed the heater fan was no longer working. Upon investigation, I found that the plug to the speed regulator was not attached. How could this plug fall out on its own as it has a strong retaining clip holding it in? I re-inserted the plug and all is fine. I'm not saying they were making work for themselves but the signs were there...
