smh, i wonder whats more dangerous to people on the road. a person doing 90 on the open highway cruising, or a cop doing 140+ weaving out of traffic, even hitting the right shoulder in order to catch somebody doing 90?

Thanks for that tip. And all I could think was (wow!), on the video.

I totally agree, that was super dangerous. All for what...catch a RAV4 doing 90 just cruising??? The risk is simply not worth it, the Trooper even said it in the video “I don’t recommend doing that”.

I am a huge LEO supporter and I live in Florida. Unfortunately the Florida Highway Patrol is a underfunded under staffed agency that pays very little and gets a lot of bottom of the barrel applicants. And when all you do all day is give tickets and go to traffic crashes catching a speeder can seem like the crime of the century (which it isn’t) thus driving like a moron as this trooper did.

For those outside of Florida, Florida Highway Patrol is not a full service agency. Meaning they do not answer calls for service for things like Shootings, stabbings, home invasions, domestic violence incidents, thefts, missing children/adults, robberies etc....

The trooper should of known better then to pull the car over to the left in the tall dry grass after just doing 140 having a scorching hot engine. Pull that car to the right and stay on the paved shoulder....common sense.

The moron cop had no idea why the grass caught fire, it call Cats glowing red, After going that fast his entire exhaust system was hot.

Then he said in the video he does not recommend do this, before he notice the car catching fire. Yeah a real classic there.

I bet if officer did go up to the window and talk to the driver the conversation would have gone,

Officer - Do you know how fast you were going
Drive - No
Officer - you were going well over 100, i have to go 140 to catch you.
Driver - I do not think I was going that fast
Officer - Here is your ticket for 140 MPH

I had an officer tell the judge he knew I was speeding since he had to drive 90 to catch up to me. I then asking him if I was going 65 and you were 1/2 mile behind me how fast would he need to drive to catch up. He looked at me like an idiot and then attempted to say if I was only going 65 he would only need to go 70, which i then ask how long would it take to close the distance. At this point his head exploded and the math got too complicated. I explain to the judge it does not matter how fast the officer had to drive to catch up, it had no baring on my speed unless the officer knew the distance between us and the time it took. Judge through out the ticket.
