M3 i-drive knob and M knob installed

I received my knob today form Evan at Tischer. GREAT guy and superb customer service.
M3 i-knob was gutted and so was my E92 i-knob, then I just used appoxy to glue the inside of the E92 i-knob in the M3, this way it sits flush and doesnt stick up.
Now for my black gloss trim.

They both look good. Is that knob weighted? Where did you get it?

+1

just got mine on a couple weeks ago.. this knob with the RR CDV is the best combo for smoother shifts imo

I like how the m3 idrive knob matches the alum trim so well..

I love the iDrive knob... did you take any pics while you were doing it? How hard was it to gut the parts without breaking anything?

That could be a nice easy first-mod for me

BUMP

I'm interested in the idrive knob as well. Do we need the guts of the e92 knob to put in the M3 knob so it fits better, or will the guts from the e90 work fine?
