Thinking about spacers...
Thinking about some spacers on the rear wheels. I went from the stock 162 wheels on the sedan with 8.5" width and ET 37 to a 9" wheel with ET 35. What about 10mm spacers. Will this be OK? Using the calculator tool it says there will be 18mm less clearance from stock which doesn't seem too much.

Look at my thread...
I stuffed an 18mm spacer on an E92 which has less clearance than your E90. You can fit a wider spacer than 10mm IMO. Don't be scared, do the math and go forward.

I have rear ET40mm 9.5" with 10mm spacers. I think I could have gone 15mm with no problems...however, it looks good so I'm sticking with it. I may have to do minor fender rolling when I lower. You should be fine with 15mm spacers, fender rolling may be required.

For the 18x9 with ET35, you can definitely use 10mm spacers in the rear. It should fit just right--I believe I've heard some people go with 12mm spacers and be just fine, but I think 10mm is the way to go. |
