CiC Display Anti-glare film

So, when I received the display for my retro, to say the least it left a bit to be desired....

So, after a good bit of buffing with Novus plastic cleaners got to this point.

But I noticed I was able to use it as a mirror sometimes with the anti-glare coating gone. So, purchased an anti-glare film off Ebay and put it on.

And now all assembly complete and ready to rock and roll.....

The center console trim is covered with 3M 1080 DM12 Dead Matte Black Vinyl which is a perfect match for the black trim around the HVAC and CiC.

Nice. Could you use the 3M on the climate control trim? When I did my retro it was scratched up and it cost $100 new which is pretty high when compared to $30 for CIC trim. The soft touch on the LCI comes off easily.

Probably. The trim separates from the control section and then it would be just a matter of applying it.

I'm still waiting to to see how well the vinyl stands up to general use.
