e90 320d breake upgrade

Hi

I need to change my front breakes soon, and might as well upgrade. (Got the small 300mm discs)

I know that the 335i breakes will be a direct fit, but will the breake balance between front and rear be wrong?
Do I need to upgrade the rear as well or can I start with the front and do the rear later?

I my book, the breake pressure is the same, and the bigger breakes will apply the same pressure, but over a lager breakepad-area, and the friction will be the same, but there will be a bigger surface to disapate heat.

Site question.
Do I need to code the car after a breake upgrade and what du I need to code? (I have all the coding tools and experience using it)

Thanks :-)
