30fe and 3100 over boost mdh with log

Can you guys look at this log and tell me if I really need the custom tune to make this stop. Getting a lpfp this week and will see if that helps.

No codes on this log

This log had exhaust vanos code and overboost. I have cleaned out the sensors but have not done a log yet.

Acc ped % 99.6. Are you saying boost solenoid? And the throttle is closing because of it.

Have you tried tuning to a different map...or going back to the stock tune altogether?

When it was stock no codes everything was good. Wedge said it’s because of the inlets. Just find that hard to believe because there are people out here that don’t have the custom tune. Want to make sure it’s not something else making the problem.

It could be the inlets, the overboosting. I have seen other logs where wgdc has to be reduced due to inlets. I can probably fix it, what car? Of course your lpfp is low too but you are taking care of it.

Maybe completely unrelated as I'm stock...but I was getting those same codes a couple of weeks ago at partial throttle but heavier acceleration than just regular daily driving. Replaced boost solenoids and I'm all good.

2007 335i auto. I was going to go to wedge but don’t want to tune for a part that is malfunctioning if it’s a solenoid.

Inlets increase the turbo efficiency to the point that the OTS maps overboost. They were never designed (by me) for inlets. You need to do a custom tune when you go inlets. Please email WedgePerformance@gmail.com for pricing information.

I had this 30FE code previously, replaced my boost solenoid and it went away. Now that I installed my jb4 it appears on ANY map. Goes in limo mode, I’ll restart my car and it’s gone. Here’s the thing, when I am not on any map, not using jb4 and floor it, there is no limp mode, or engine light. But once I turn it on and floor it, it appears. Is it possible for a connection issue? I read about the blue wire and the power wire possibly not having the right connection or is it something else? Anyone else have a problem like this?
