Clamps are much better than the original Spearco unit and the up tube is chrome instead of black power coat, otherwise it looks identical!
E93 owners beware you have to dent the up pup a tiny bit as it interfears with a front brace unless they've made the new up tube to accomidate that. |

Looks great. Maybe sometime down the road I'd be more interested. First I need to spend that $1000 on a tuner. Good luck with the sales.

do a search for spearco intercooler. probably the best design out there IMO. in fact the only company to publish all the data on pressure drop and thermal efficiency. best way to increase HP with tune and without stressing the compressors. |

cool, thanks for the info. I'm going to be buying and IC soon and I know spearco has a great rep, the only thing that makes me hesitate is that I dont know enough about the competing FMIC's i.e. AA's, they're also pretty respected I think, but i'm just going by name really.

There is a million ways to get more power, your rationale is silly.. The whole point of the after market is improved components over what comes stock.. If BMW did that with every part on the car, the E9x would cost $100K

I would not be surprised to see the tii with an upgraded IC. And upgraded Oil cooler, and maybe even radiator. Ideally cats moved out of the engine compartment, but I would be shocked (pleasantly!) to see a change like that.
