Heating blowing white dust/particals

Hi all,

Wondered if anyone could help.

My 2007 335i SE is blowing white dust out of the inside blowers, quite bad to be fair.

It gathers on the interior trims etc

It only comes through on the normal blower setting. If air conditioning is on, nothing.

Ive not tested different temps etc, its cold in the UK so its been on 20/22 degrees C since I noticed it starting a few weeks ago.

I read somewhere to swap out the evaporater? If so, where is it and is it a tough job? Its UK RHD.
