Front Liscense Plates
This isn't a meet post per se, but it is regional.
How many of u guys removed the front plate in NY? Do cops make a big deal. I was driving my gf's dad's car once, and his plate was falling off in the front and my parents made a big deal saying i would get a ticket. But i enver actually drived a car without the front plate. yet i see all these pics from members (from cali tho) who dont have the plate on the front. Looks much better imo.

yea i live near albany and i don't have a front bumper on this car, nor do my friends who have such type cars, (geared towards an older crowd) I left mine on when I had my RSX though...
My younger brothers friends all keep them on their civics and talons, the cops just love to pull over those DSM's .... |

it's just a matter of time IMO. i hate front plates also... but if it's the end of the month and you have dark tint you will def get pulled... and plz don't put the plate on the dash that just screams "HEY I HAVE NO PLATES!"

i got a no plate ticket and tint ticket about 2 months ago in suffolk. i just paid them and that was it. i didnt give him my pba for some reason otherwise i dont think it would have been an issue because i was pulled over last month for not stopping at a sign, making a left where i wasnt supposed to , suspended license, no plate, tint, and had 3 or 4 beers in me had the pen test and the guy let my gf drive us outta there no ticket. so i think it all depends on who pulls you over/on duty

Never got pulled over driving
Parked, those traffic "cop" pussies gave me three tickets. Two of them were in less than 24hr of each other. All within a month. |

funny story on why i have my front plate off.. When i bought my car from the dealer the screws werent in to good, and the whole plate pannel was lose so one dya i saw it moving i went up and pulled it off, its been sitting in the back seat ever since. I drive through out the city and queens all day for work and chilling purposes and no one has ever said anything to me. *knock on fucking wood* but honestly i just keep it in the back and if i get pulled over i plan to say it just came off and i didnt have the proper tools to put it back on.

I've never seen anyone be pulled over while driving in the city. I don't think there is such a thing. Jersey on the other hand... they'll pull you over and tow your car. Then the guy at the lot will try to scam you.

the thing with the traffic people are, if they know you park in the same location all the time, they'll target you for an easy quota. |

never got a ticket. car is in the driveway all day and most of the places I go to have parking lots. Hardly park on the street, never on a main street, in the day time...night time, I park anywhere.

^ if you in a driveway its fine, you can't be ticketed on your own private property, but when your on public roads its all bout luck. Long Island you might get away with it more often then you would if you go to the city.

I have my plate on my dash in the lower right corner. I got pulled over too many times for not having a front plate but the last trooper told me putting it there was fine....no tickets since.
